This illustration is really important for me because it was the sign of a big change in my career. I started doing mostly logos for brands and at some point I discovered the work of people like Saul Bass and I really wanted to try new things following his style. I also loved the work of Alex Steinweiss.
I then decided to explore letters with shapes. And that is how this Yosemite piece was born. And that was important because this was the piece that built to foundation of the new orientation I gave to my work: more free, more imperfect, more colorful and more human.
