Through vibrant colors and works combining acrylic painting and collage, Francis Chouquet, aka Fran6, explores geometric and simplified forms inspired by a visual language that sometimes draws from folk and tribal art. A vocabulary of simple, symbolic shapes that evokes universal and timeless motifs.
Deeply connected to nature, his work reflects on the relationship we maintain with it and what it can offer us: calm, grounding, and well-being. These paintings aim to convey sensations similar to those experienced during a walk outdoors — vibrant colors, pauses, moments to breathe and reconnect.
Modern, graphic, and playful, his approach is conceived as an invitation to slow down and return to what matters most.
